Ovoclinic, awarded with the Andalucía Excelente Prize

premio andalucia excelente 2018

The jury that awards these prizes has based its decision on the excellence of the contributions of the clinical centre to medicine and assisted reproduction.

Ovoclinic has been awarded with the Andalucía Excelente Prize in the category of Excellence in Medicine, for being a national and international reference in the field of embryology, andrology and assisted reproduction in general. The Awards Gala is to be held today, Friday, October 5 at the Alfonso XIII Hotel in Seville, in an event that will host a multisectorial cast of professionals and companies to recognise the merit and dedication of those who have managed to position the Andalusia and Spain Brand both here and outside our borders.

Ovoclinic, founded in 2012, was conceived with the idea of increasing success rates in assisted reproduction treatments and achieving the dream of many couples: having a child.

The centre has three different laboratories: embryology, andrology and R + D, as well as surgery, psychological assistance and its own egg bank, Ovobank, a European benchmark for being a pioneer in the continent, and currently the largest egg bank in the world. Ovobank is the first bank of cryopreserved donor eggs in Europe, created to meet the growing need for donor eggs, helping to optimise fertility treatments and facilitating the way for patients and future families. It is distinguished with the ISO 9001: 2008 quality certificate and the Artemide quality system.

Thanks to the use of state-of-the-art technology and unique equipment, Ovoclinic carries out different treatments and techniques of assisted reproduction, including artificial insemination (AI), in vitro fertilization (IVF) and ICSI, as well as gamete donation, ovule vitrification, Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) and TIME-LAPSE multi-chamber incubator, among others.

Likewise, the clinic has a nursing team and a specialised International Department, which assist patients regardless of their nationality. For this, they offer attention in Spanish and other languages ??such as English, French, Italian and Arabic.

Enrique Criado Scholz, director of Ovoclinic and Ovobank, has implemented the best techniques based on his extensive career as a clinical embryologist, not only in Spain and Italy but also in the United States. And, thanks to everything described above, the Ovoclinic group has experienced a growth in its 6 years of existence, going from 30 treatments on its first year to almost 1,500 today and, therefore, deserves this recognition of excellence for its contributions to the world of science and medicine.
